Multi Peril Crop Insurance
(MPCI) is the foundation or backbone of crop insurance coverage. MPCI allows you to protect from 60% up to 85% of your farm average. Farms can be looked at as individual single units or combined as one unit. We use the following provider for MPCI: AgriSompo
Buy-Ups: Yield Band and Yield Select allow producers to purchase additional yield guarantees of up to 95% of their trend-adjusted APH. While Revenue Band and Revenue Select allow producers additional revenue guarantees up to 95% of their trend-adjusted APH.
Hail: Production Hail coverage is king in the corn belt, but there are many other traditional plans available as well
Fire: Often overlooked, most fires are not covered under MPCI
