Have You Reported Your Acres Yet?
With the calendar turning to July, it’s time to get your acres reported to the FSA office and your crop insurance agent. Acres need to be certified at FSA first, and then they will give you your maps and 578 forms. If you haven't already done so, bring those to the office to report the acres for your MPCI policy.
There is a common misconception that acres don’t need to be reported because there may not be a farm program or direct payment program. This is false as the acres should still be reported. With the holiday weekend, the deadline will be here before you know it, so don’t get stuck at the back of the line.
We hope to see you soon!
